Tigran Zakaryan

Tigran Zakaryan is the director of “GEOINFO” company.

He graduated from the Armenian National Agrarian University. He is qualified as an expert in forest and pasture inventory and assessment, including non-wood forest products (NWFPs).

He has a Master’s degree in Veterinary Sanitary Expertise.

He has 15 years of work experience at “GEOINFO” company, serving as a senior manager since 2010 and as the company director since 2015.

Under his leadership, various projects have been implemented for organizations such as GIZ, IUCN, and UNDP. These projects included multifunctional forest resource inventories and related pasture assessments.

In addition to “GEOINFO” company, his experience extends to collaborations with other organizations, such as GIZ/NHRS LLC, Widegate LLC, Yerevan State University, and HGH COMPANY LLC. These involvements included the development of Forest Management Plans (FMPs) for several forestry enterprises, conducting forest carbon inventories, and implementing public forest monitoring in Armenia within the framework of the FLEG I and FLEG II projects.
